This was a great breakdown of the UFC card from Abu Dhabi that had the main event featuring the Flyweight world title. It was a rematch between Joseph Benavidez and Deiveson Figueiredo that ended in controversial fashion the first time. The was no controversy this time as Figueiredo knocked Benavidez down three times and finally submitted him with a rear naked choke. There is finally a belt holder after Henry Cejudo vacated the belt in February of this year. There would have been a champion just over a week later if Figueiredo had not missed weight. He won the first matchup after the collided heads with an accidental head butt that rocked Benavidez. Joe lost concentration and got knocked out. With their being no belt holder the UFC decided to let them settle it again this past weekend. Their was a lot of good fights on this card and it was fun to watch and breakdown.
We also looked ahead to the last of the four consecutive cards on Fight Island in Abu Dhabi, The Main event of this card UFC Fight Night 174 is a middleweight matchup between Robert Whittaker vs Darren Till. I think everyone agrees that this should be a great battle between two top contenders. There are also three legends of the sport on the card.
Enjoy the breakdown.

What an exciting weekend of golf at Muirfield Village in Dublin Ohio!
This inaugurul Charity Open was an amazing and memorable tournament. They lost the John Deere Classic off the schedule so the PGA scrambled and decided to head to Muirfield one week early and have this tourney replace it on the schedule. This will mean having back to back PGA tournaments at one course for the first time in 63 years.
It was a fantastic weekend of golf highlighted with a great roller coaster Sunday that ended up in a three hole playoff. Collin Morikawa held off one of the best in the world in Justin Thomas. Morikawa led the tournament after the 1st with a 65 and second round 66 roaring out to to a big lead. Justin Thomas reeled him back in with a 66 of his own on saturday against Morikawa's 72. That lead was gone by 4 holes on Sunday as JT made two bogeys and Morikawa and Viktor Hovland both were getting a lot of early birdies. Then JT turned it around in the middle of his round and eventually had a three shot lead with three holes to play but lost it. It forced an incredible three hole playoff. On the second playoff hole Thomas was first to putt and sized up a fifty foot wide breaking left to right putt. He nailed the fifty footer that almost sealed the victory but Morikawa drained a 24 foot putt of his own to continue the battle. When JT hit his tee shot behind a little tree on the 10th hole he had to lay up and when Morikawa nailed his par putt he had his second victory on tour. He has more wins (2) than missed cuts (1) in 24 tournaments.
We also look ahead to the Memorial tournament presented by Jack Nicklaus and the return of Tiger Woods searching for his record breaking 83rd career win to break the tie with Sam Snead and become the winningest golfer of all time. Tiger is teeing it up for the first time in five months so he could be rusty. He will be playing the first two rounds with Rory Mcilroy and Brooks Koepka and that will be a fun group to watch. The other featured pairing we talked about was Bryson Dechambeau with Collin Morikawa and Patrick Cantlay the defending champion of the Memorial Tournament.
Enjoy our breakdown of two great tournaments.

This is a can't miss episode of Complete Sports Podcast as we welcomed Rob Fai into the studio. Rob is the one and only professional baseball broadcaster in Vancouver. He has been part of this extremely well run organization that remains for now Canada'a only affiliated minor league baseball team. The affiliation with the Toronto Blue Jays started in 2010 and has been a great move for both teams. Rob has blossomed into a great voice both on and off the air. He also blossomed into a beloved local radio personality and is about to enter the great world of sports podcasts. We discussed some fun baseball topics and thoroughly enjoyed our time with one of the really good guys in the industry.
This will really brighten up your day when you watch this podcast. Take Care and bye for now.

This posting comes on the heels of a great victory by Bryson Dechambeau in the PGA tournament the Rocket Mortgage Classic from Detroit Michigan.
It was a great breakdown with Darren Campbell and Casey Odonnell in conversation. Dechambeau spent the Covid 19 pandemic lock down working out and putting on a lot of muscle. It was very evident in his physique and he has increased his club speed and ball striking where he set a record for distance average. This victory and recent string of success could revolutionize golf and change the game. Many other competitors were talked about and discussed but it just came down to Bryson and this epic and memorable performance as the story in golf!
This is another great post tournament breakdown and we hope that you enjoy it as much as we did. Thanks for tuning in and the support. Take care love yah and bye for now!

Tune in for another great podcast from The Complete Sports and Media Coverage team. Today we are featuring a great conversation with a veteran of the combat sports world Stephane Cappellini. Capo has competed in combat sports and worked with his local athletic commission to help put on events. We have a short introduction to the show as we start talking about the UFC. After the pandemic hit North America and postponed and cancelled events the UFC was able to eventually return. We began talking about the events in Florida and Las Vegas after the sport had returned with no fans. We all have been missing live sports and with hard work the UFC has started to fill that void. We introduced Stephane and welcomed him to the show. Our conversation started by speaking about the difference we noticed with no fans in the stands at these latest live event fight cards. We briefly discussed the rumors of Mike Tyson fighting Shannon Briggs or Evander Holyfield. The focus quickly shifted back to the UFC and the latest pay per view UFC 250 and the main event featuring Amanda Nunes and Felicia Spencer. After a brief discussion about the dominant performance by Nunes we shifted into discussing the other fights on the card. We began to specifically speak about the bantamweight fights beginning with Cody Garbrandt and his big knockout victory over Raphael Assuncao. Stephane mentioned Garbrandts jujitsu coach Ricardo Almeida and we brought up his new Striking coach Mark Henry and his original team Team Alpha Male. Sticking with the bantamweights we marveled at the submission victory by Aljimain Sterling over Cory Sandhagen. Then transitioned into talking about the big knockout win by Sean OMalley over Eddie Wineland. To cap off UFC 250 we talked about Cody Stamman and his win with a heavy heart after his 18 year old brother had passed away recently. We then turned our attention to the latest fight announcement of the card for UFC 251, It was revealed just hours before our conversation that the card would take place on Yas Island called "Fight Island" in Abu Dhabi on July 11th. This card is scheduled to feature three world title matches. We started by talking about the Title fight in the Bantamweight division between Petr Yan and Jose Aldo. The belt is on the line because of the retirement of Henry Cejudo and so the title was vacated. The Main event of UFC 251 features the Champion Kamara Usman defending his belt against Gilbert Burns. We discussed some of Burns last fights and the merits of his title shot. We shifted to the third title fight on the card that would see a rematch between Featherweight Champion Alexandre Volkanovski vs Max Holloway. Volkanovski took the belt from Holloway on December 14 2019 by unanimous decision. Stephane questioned how Holloway could comeback in such a relatively short time and get a victory and getting beaten quite badly the in first match. Our great conversation was concluded with some discussion on the recent announcement of Georges St Pierre getting nominated for the UFC Hall Of Fame. It was a great breakdown from one of our favorite analysts and we look forward to many more discussions in the future. I hope that you enjoy this Podcast outtake and hit the like button and subscribe to our channel and insert our podcast into your life. Take care and all the best. Bye for now
