#NFL #SuperWildcard #weekend #NBA
We had a blast watching the NFL Super wildcard weekend and then so much fun breaking it down. Jason Cameron was able to offer his great perspective and incredible insight as the NFL narrowed the field from 14 to 8. The games were entertaining and full of drama.
Buffalo won a nail biter 30 to 27 over the Indianapolis Colts. Josh Allen and Stefon Diggs were the key to their huge win. The Bills mafia was loud and thrilled getting their first playoff win since 2004.
Lamar Jackson threw the Ravens on his back and ran them to victory 20 to 13 over the Titans. The Ravens have to be congratulated for their handling of the rushing leader king Derrick Henry who only ran for 40 yards on Sunday a season low.
The Cleveland Browns had the football gods smiling on them as they roared out to a huge lead and held off the Pittsburgh Steelers 48 to 37. The Steelers coughed up the ball 5 times and were not able to outscore all of their mistakes. The long suffering Browns fans got to cheer on their teams first playoff win sonce 1994.
The Saints used an incredible defensive effort to beat the overmatched Chicago Bears 20 to 9. Drew Brees, Alvin Kamara and Michael Thomas were the offensive stars as usual and shined bright for the Saints.
Tampa Bay won their first playoff game since 2003 behind Tom Brady and their explosive offense as they downed the Washington football team 31 to 23.
The LA Rams pulled off the biggest upset of the weekend as they won 30 to 20 on the road against the Seattle Seahawks. There were no fans in the stands so the home field advantage wasn't a factor in this one. It was the Hawks first loss at home since 2004 a string of ten consecutive wins ever since.
Enjoy all of the breakdowns!
The divisional matchups are now solidified.
The NFC has the #1 seed Green Bay Packers hosting the #6 seed LA Rams.
The # 2 seed New Orleans Saints will play host to the #5 seed Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
The AFC has their #1 seed Kansas City Chiefs hosting the #6 seed Cleveland Browns.
The #2 seed Buffalo Bills host the #5 seed Baltimore Ravens.
We look forward to all four games next weekend!
We discussed a lot of aspects of the NBA that is having a huge amount of troubles with Covid-19 outbreaks that have led to postponements and teams very undermanned.
Take care, Love yah, Bye for now!
